An exciting, melodic and funky live band playing original honest to goodness rock that refuses to grow up. The Distancing formed in 2010 after Sarah and Keri witnessed the awesomeness of the Burton music scene. After jamming with Jonny “The Voice of Burton”, (ex-Six Weeks Falling & Brackenwood), they wrote great pop-rock anthems, and recruited a dedicated guitarist, Tim, to contribute to a more melodic and stronger sound. A few headline gigs, recording sessions, and charitable events later, and after picking up additional guitarist Tom, they have amassed a growing, loyal following amongst the live music scene in Burton-Upon-Trent and Derby.
