Playing ’Political, Post-Punk from the heart of the Midlands’ Wicker Sunday are a solid punky, rocky band with bluesy after-tones. A strange sounding mix, that you need to hear to believe, added to that there’s a saxophone, which gives an extra dimension to their sound. At Burtfest this year the band will be stripping the set down to its acoustic bones and adding mandolin and accordion to the usual guitar and bass.
